Planning guide
What Should a Musician Website Include?
A practical website content checklist for musicians: music, biography, press materials, booking contacts and clear navigation.
Give listeners and industry contacts a clear starting point.
A musician website should explain who you are, let visitors hear your work and make contact straightforward. Prioritize the information your audience needs today. An emerging solo artist may need a much smaller site than a label with a large catalog.
Put music and artist information within easy reach.
Include a short current biography, release information and links to the official listening platforms you use. If you embed a player, check it on mobile and confirm that it works for your intended visitors. Do not make essential information depend on autoplay.
Prepare press and booking information.
Provide approved photographs and a concise biography for press use, with credits and any relevant usage instructions. Identify the correct contact for booking, press or general enquiries. Only publish personal contact details you intend to make public.
Keep the site manageable.
Use clear page names, readable text and images sized for the web. If you add tour dates, maintain them. If you collect email addresses, explain the subscription and provide a way to leave it. A small accurate website is more useful than a larger one full of stale information.
Match the package to the work required.
Our campaign landing page package starts at $499 and our business website package at $999. An EPK, store, migration or booking integration is included only when stated in the agreed scope. List the pages and functions you actually need before comparing quotes.
